ICG AeroChat app for iPhone and iPad

ICG AeroChat is a SIP and Messaging Client for iOS mobile devices, providing voice and IM capabilities to executive jet passengers and crew. This application is designed to provide the user a single interface for personal communications while traveling outside the limits of normal mobile communications networks. AeroChat requires a broadband satellite network connection to allow connectivity to ground based VOIP and popular XMPP messaging services and is designed to complement aircraft data services provided by ICGs premier aircraft data router, the eRouter. eRouter features quality of service (QOS) and data class of service routing to provide the best possible voice quality over satellite data connections.


Minimum Requirements:

-ICG eRouter ERT-120.
-Class 6 or 7 Inmarsat terminal (Inmarsat high or intermediate gain system, capable of 32Kbit/s streaming class connections) or Ku-Band satellite terminal with minimum 128k forward and return links.
-An internet accessible, ground hosted VOIP Service (SIP).
